iPhone battery replacements delayed

The software was designed to monitor for reduced peak power – a natural side-effect as lithium-ion batteries get olderAs per MacRumors’ write-up, that means “approximately two weeks” for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus; a late March to early April date for the iPhone 6 Plus; and batteries for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone SE will be,  “available without extended delays.”

The replacement program discount is available until the end of 2018
